She holds a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Columbia University in the City of New York. She is certified both locally by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a Senior Therapist, and internationally through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).

 

Ayah specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and is PROMPT certified in treating motor speech disorders. She adopts a person- and family-centered, strength-based approach that focuses on improving each client’s overall quality of life. She believes that communication is a fundamental human right and supports the use of multimodal communication, while respecting each individual’s preferences and choices. Ayah is passionate about promoting awareness of neurodiversity-affirming, evidence-based practices that empower clients and their families to advocate for their needs and well-being.
